  • When and where is the conference?
    • October 7-8, 2008 Cook Convention Center, Memphis, TN

Registration & Conference Hours:

  • What are the hours of the event?
    • October 7, 2008 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    • October 8, 2008 - 8:00 a.m. to NOON
  • What are the hours for on-site registration?
    • October 6, 2008 - beginning at 6:00 p.m. and ending at 8:00 p.m.
    • October 7, 2008 - beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 8:30 a.m.

Cost for Attendees:

  • How much does it cost?
      • Rate
        Member - $100 if you register online and pay by credit card via the Web site
        Non-Member - $150 if you register online and select the pay later option or register by mail
      • NW3C Member Agencies will receive a discounted registration fee. Use our agency look up feature to see if your agency is a member. Membership in NW3C is free and open to federal, state, local and international law enforcement; regulatory and prosecution agencies; as well as duly constituted permanent task forces.

Conference Program:

  • When will the full conference program for the Conference be available?
    • Applications for Speaker Presentations are being accepted through Friday, June 6th. A decision will be made the following week. Check back mid-June for the complete Conference Program.
  • Is the Keynote open to anyone?
    • Yes, a paid conference registration gives you access to our keynote speaker and associated luncheon. Name badges must be worn for admission into the event.
  • What is the format of the conference?
    • The conference will offer breakout sessions organized into simultaneously occurring tracks on various topics. The Conference brings together law enforcement, regulators, prosecutors, corporate risk management and loss control professionals, researchers, academicians, and victim services advocates, to learn from model programs and to share best practices that address economic and high-tech crime at many levels.
  • What presentation materials do I get?
    • Full conference registration includes unlimited access to all sessions, all event provided meals (breakfast, morning and afternoon breaks, lunch, and one evening reception), a CD compilation of all conference presentations, a complimentary portfolio bag, and other conference materials.
  • What evening events are planned?
    • A networking function will be offered on the first day of the conference.

    • Refunds are not available.
  • I have already registered. When and how will I know if you have received my registration?
    • At the time of registration, you should have received a confirmation number. Use this number to confirm information via the Web site or .
  • How can I update incorrect information on my confirmation?
  • What if I have not received my e-mail confirmation?
  • When will I receive my name badge?
    • Your name badge and conference materials can be obtained on-site at registration. Name badges should be worn at all times for admission to events.


Travel & Hotel:

  • How can I make hotel arrangements?
    • We encourage you to make room reservations at your earliest convenience and have provided online reservation services on this site. You will need to contact the hotels directly.
  • I'll be driving to the exposition. What is the address and how do I get directions to the hotel?


Speaking at the Conference:

  • Who speaks at the Conference?
    • The conference features objective, dynamic speakers who are enthusiastic about sharing knowledge with their peers. The event hosts speakers who are investigators, prosecutors, industry experts, researchers, practitioners, authors, and more!
  • What are the responsibilities of an Conference speaker?
    • Speakers must follow the presentation guidelines provided by NW3C in order to ensure content quality. A speaking opportunity is not an opportunity for sales pitches.
  • I would like to speak at the Conference. How do I submit a proposal?
    • If you are interested in submitting a Presentation Proposal Form, please contact to discuss the availability of speaker opportunities. To submit a speaker proposal, please visit our Call for Speakers page..
  • When do I find out whether my speaking proposal was accepted?
    • Proposals will be accepted until 5:00PM Friday, June 6, 2008. The NW3C Program Committee will announce selected presentations no later than July 7th.
